Catogries include 

  • Student Journalist of the Year 2019 - We're looking for the UK’s best student journalist on any platform.
  • Student Broadcaster of the Year 2019 - Are you a compelling broadcaster with a nose for a good story?
  • Student Visual and Photo Journalist of the Year 2019 - For visual storytellers - photographers, animators, graphic artists, and designers.
  • Student Critic of the Year 2019 - We’re looking for the best in student criticism and commentary on any platform.
  • Student Publication of the Year 2019 - The award for the UK’s best student newspaper, magazine, or website.
  • Student Programme of the Year 2019 - We're looking for the UK’s best student audio or video programme.
In order to enter for this award you must be a UK resident (including Channel Islands and the Isle of Man) and a full or part time student during the academic year 2018-2019. Proof of age, identity and eligibility may be requested.  Entries can be made online at bbc.co.uk/todayawards from 2nd of May 2019. Please complete the fields requested for each of the categories to ensure the nomination can be judged. Please note that all nominations must be received no later than 23:59 on 31st of August 2019. Any nominations received after this will not be accepted. Nominations cannot be made by any other method.
