Here's a peek onto what's going on this academic year 👀

💡 Bright Ideas Den: The Bright Ideas Den funding is available to current students and graduates of up to 3 years from the University of South Wales, for a chance to pitch up to £1,000 to kickstart your bright idea or existing business. BID takes place in November, March and July each year.

🤝🏽 Create and Collaborate: A networking event that brings together students & graduates from a range of courses within the creative industries, and creative working professionals.

💪 Developing Entrepreneurial Women Programme: A fully-funded series of masterclasses and events delivered by the University of South Wales in partnership with NatWest Cymru, with expert-led start up sessions, on-demand expert led workshops, inspiring role models and community through networking.

⏩ Freelance Fast Track: An action packed two half-day bootcamp to make you Freelance ready (or ready to start your business). The two days cover a range of essential topics, and you will also have the chance to pitch your enterprise idea and secure up to £1000.

👩‍🏫 Freelance & Startup Masterclass: A full day series of Masterclasses to provide you with the essentials to Freelance or launch your own business! Interactive sessions delivered by experts.

🙌 Global Entrepreneurship Week: Global Entrepreneurship Week will celebrate 14 years of helping millions of people unleash their ideas to start and scale new businesses. With 180 countries taking part it is recognised as the biggest global celebration of entrepreneurship.

🚀 LAUNCH Graduate Freelance & Business Start-Up Accelerator: This accelerator can help you concentrate on your business idea with funding and enterprise mentorship. Unlock start-up funding of up to £5,000 and expert business coaching to get your idea off the ground. Check out what Cohort 2 has been up to and join Cohort 3 now.

🌐 Start-Up Visa Information Sessions: The Start Up Visa offers successful applicants 2 years to start and grow a business in the UK. This information session will provide USW international students and graduates with the opportunity to find out more about the visa.

🛍️ Start-Up Week: Whether you’re looking to develop start-up ideas, make it as a freelancer, grow your own business or social enterprise, the Start-Up Week has something for everyone. 

💰 Test Trade Fund: Have a BIG or small idea you would like to explore and test? Get up to £250 for your equipment, software, marketing and more for your freelance/business ideas. Deadline for this year is 17th October 2022.
