Immersed is a music festival run by students at the University of South Wales and celebrates five years of supporting emerging talent as it returns this year. Immersed! 2023 takes place from 17 - 19th February, in partnership with Orchard Live and Libertino Records, raising funds for climate change charity Music Declares Emergency.
The festival will launch on the 17th Feb at USW’s Cardiff Campus with the Immersed! 5th birthday awards ceremony, celebrating artists and stakeholders who have contributed to its success over the past five years before heading to the Tramshed for the main event on the 18th Feb. The awards will feature live performances courtesy of Libertino Records, a music industry careers fair and fringe gig from Welsh Government initiative, Skills Competition Wales battle of the bands.
We are taking the opportunity to curate a careers fair and networking event as part of the festivities running from 2.30-4.30pm, Friday 17 February, and before the main awards ceremony. Our aim is to bring opportunity and industry together to support the sector in Wales.
Expect venues, record labels, educators, promotion companies, press, community organisations, retailers, radio pluggers and sole traders looking to collaborate in attendance.
