Channel 4 has reopened applications for the Production Training Scheme for those interested in working in Cardiff
The Channel 4 Production Training Scheme is for entry-level talent who want to break into the media industry and are passionate about making television programmes.
The deadline has been extended to 10 June.
Applicants applying for this scheme may already have a degree in Film and Television (or related) or have some previous experience of the television industry through running, work experience or short term placements.
Anyone can apply to the programme, but the scheme is particularly aimed at people with disabilities, or from BAME communities or disadvantaged backgrounds. These groups are currently underrepresented in the television industry which is something we want to change.
If successful, you’ll spend a week in TV Boot Camp to get things underway. Here, you’ll hear from graduates of the scheme and Commissioning Editors who’ll give you the lowdown on what it takes to succeed. Then your career in TV starts for real at your production company – but we’ll still see you once a month at Channel 4 for training to help you further your career.
Placements will begin on 17th September 2018.
Don’t miss this second chance to apply! Apply via @4Talent careers.channel4.com/4talent/training-scheme/production-training-scheme
