Would you like to help inspire the next generation of female STEM students?

May 25, 2018

This is a fantastic opportunity to practice your communication skills, do some public speaking and do your bit to encourage women into STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) roles.

Llanwern High school are holding a week of events (week commencing 5th June) to celebrate the centenary of the suffragette movement. As part of their celebrations they are looking for inspirational USW female role models from male dominated disciplines to volunteer talk to pupils about their courses, their industry and to help encourage them that with hard work and determination they can realise their career aspirations.

If you are interested in getting involved please get in touch nicola.robinson@southwales.ac.uk for information

Dates and times that week are flexible to fit around any prior commitments.
