The purpose of this senior role within the team is to lead on the solution design, development, integration and implementation of the new Curriculum Management System that will drive the University’s academic life and support core business processes in the Faculties, Academic Registry and Marketing and Admissions departments for the coming years. The role holder will be expected to liaise with customers and the development team and assist them to realise the benefits of their information systems. The role will have direct line management responsibility and will be expected to develop the capability of Analyst/Developers and Developers within the team and encourage a team ethos to problem solving, as well as working on their own initiative.
In conjunction with the Development Manager the role holder will ensure that the focus of the team is held on the priority project, ensuring work is suitably progressed. The role holder will operate in line with University, departmental and divisional standards.
