You don’t need any aviation experience and applications are accepted from any degree discipline. This role’s all about you. How you think and solve problems. How you handle pressure. How you adapt to unpredictable situations like extreme weather events.

Training takes around 3 years, at which point you can expect to earn upwards of £50,000!

“GO Wales”: are hosting a number of information events across all campuses. It’s a chance to come along and ask questions about how GO Wales can help you get quality work experience.

GO Wales banner Looking for Work Experience? GO Wales Employability Advisers may be able to help!

We work with all kinds of employers in Wales to create tailored, flexible work experience opportunities designed to fit around students’ other commitments.

We source:

  • Work shadowing – up to three days of unpaid work experience observing someone in their role to understand how they do their job.
  • Work tasters – up to four weeks of unpaid work experience with the opportunity to learn about work and the working environment by observing and undertaking some tasks.
  • Work placements – four to six weeks of paid work experience getting hands-on experience or working on a project.

Making a computer game in Steam - Students wanted for Technocamps collaboration with Menter Iaith

Technocamps are working with Menter Iaith to find student programmers to work on a game to promote Welsh/English bilingualism.

Students will get to develop a professional quality game in Unity which will be launched in March 2018.

The project will be working with Webfibre studios in Llantrisant and will be key members of the programming team.

AirBus Airbus is looking for exceptional ideas using space that are suitable for having a lasting positive influence on our daily lives. This includes topics such as autonomous driving, 5G connectivity and IoT/M2M, as well as life science, material research, new technologies and services.

To enter submit a one page abstract on any new commercial business idea relating to space.

The OR Society logo We all know and love the basic motivations of volunteering, we know the spiel that informs us we are part of something good and we’re making a difference to something that is usually bigger than all of us.

If you work with individuals from a charity, then you have also heard about just how much you can change that person’s life, whether it be a child who is struggling to invest in their childhood, or an elderly person who struggles to stay sociable; spending time with these individuals is a responsible thing to do. There is a whole underworld of motivations to volunteer and pro bono OR can make them all available.
