“Developing graduate attributes will help you through your student journey and prepare for life after university.”

At USW you have the opportunity to develop a wide range of academic abilities, personal qualities and transferable skills – we call these Graduate Attributes.

Commercial Awareness: Staying up to date with the daily happenings and developments in your area of interest. Communication: Good communication skills are a must to be able to build effective relationships and work with others. Innovation and Enterprise: Thinking creatively to generate ideas and make things happen. Project Management: A methodical approach to planning and guiding project processes from concept to completion. Digital Literacy: Using digital skills and emerging technology in the workplace and real life situations. Leadership: The ability to lead, guide and motivate others.

The MyFuture questionnaire can help you explore the USW attributes, identify where you have already developed and are using these skills, and suggest quick and easy ways to develop them further.

After a review, we have changed the questionnaire slightly for 18/19. You can still access your questionnaire by visiting the Careers Readiness Questionnaire. However, you are very welcome to complete the new MyFuture questionnaire too and compare your results.

Click on each of the icons above to take you to a focus on the attribute or follow this link in Unilife Connect

You will find information on why these attributes are important and how you can further develop them while at university.
