Information about booking Skype appointments
You will need to provide us with your Skype address during the booking procedure.
You will need to make sure you have logged onto Skype at least 10 minutes prior to your appointment time. Your Careers and Employability Adviser will have sent you a request in Skype to add you to their Skype contacts list. You must accept this request prior to the appointment. The adviser will then invite you to a Skype conversation at the arranged appointment time.
By choosing this type of appointment you agree to the following:
The Careers and Employability Adviser reserves the right to terminate the session should they feel the need to do so.
You understand that the session will not take place if you are not logged into Skype or do not accept the invitation to the meeting at the appropriate time.
Appointments are time bound (30 mins).
The Careers and Employability Service guarantee that they will not make a video or audio recording of any Skype sessions and that any text messages sent will be deleted at the end of the session.
As a graduate of this University (and partner colleges) you can access guidance and support from the Careers & Employability Service free of charge for up to three years after your graduation date. You are entitled to a maximum of ten career related interventions over the three year period.
